EICR & Rewiring
Over time the wiring in your house that powers all your appliances, equipment and lighting can begin to wear down and need replacing. At JCESS our fully trained and insured engineers can complete a full house rewire to replace all the wiring and any equipment that may also need upgraded. We ensure that all jobs will be done to meet the appropriate safety standards.
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is a service that can be done to identify any damage, deterioration, defects and/or conditions within the home. Our qualified engineer will complete a visual check and perform some tests to confirm everything is working safely and correctly to the minimum standards. If anything isn’t working properly or up to the correct standards our qualified engineer will be able to make any recommendations in the report and advise of any repairs needed. An EICR is recommended once every 10 years for homeowners and it is mandatory at least once every 5 years for private rentals.
Emergency lighting
Emergency lighting is an alternative lighting for an emergency situation when the main power supply of electricity is cut and normal lighting fails. Emergency lighting is usually required in public buildings and operates fully automatically to give illumination allowing occupants to evacuate the building safely. We can offer a range of emergency lighting including:
- Emergency escape lighting
- Standby lighting
- Open area lighting
- High risk task area lighting
